Simone God is the founder and CEO of various luxury fashion companies, including SISI GOD label, and at just 26 years old, she already showed her incredible entrepreneurial skills by excitedly taking on new challenges as they are presented to her.
Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, she grew up in Toronto. Later, she decided to launch her career in Montreal, Canada’s creative capital, but travels extensively in order to maintain a fresh outlook on life. She brings this worldly inspiration with her in all her ventures and designs. Simone loves a life driven by passion, which has led her to following her dreams, wherever they may take her.

How did your passion for design start and how your creative process work?
My passion for design started at a very young age before I could walk and I loved fashion I would eat live breathe fashion. It’s something that was just in me.
How fashion nowadays helps and motivate you to become a fashion designer?
Fashion motivates me in a way to create something new that people want to feel good and look great so people can tell them they look beautiful. I am a people’s pleaser and I love to please others by making them design they will feel great in.
Can you tell us a little bit about your references for the last collection?
My last collection was seen in New-York for NYFW and it was inspired by boss women that go to work that have a business that are mothers and want to look great all women type that want to look classy and powerful in a great women’s suit. The 360 superwomen that is in the unstoppable!
Are you sick of people talking about millennials?Do you see yourself as a designer for young people, a new generation?
I am sick of hearing that about millennials are smart and great. I do think they can run the world and do anything they put their minds to. We have everything the technology and nowadays everything is accessible if you put in the work things will come gradually and you will gain the success you deserve. I love our young generation and do see myself motivating our generation and the generations to come in the world.
How do you want people to feel when they wear your clothes?
I want people to feel confident and beautiful wearing my clothes that they can take on any adversity in style. #boss
What do you think it’s your best-selling piece from your last collection?
My bestselling piece would be the suit called Monaco it’s a tan colour and it sold out so quickly people were so in love.
What do you think about the opportunity of selling your products on online platforms, you think it might be a good showcase for your work and your future?
Absolutely, I think the future is online and I’m currently working on reinventing my website I had lots of sales and it crashed now it’s under construction because I have a lot of clients outside the country. And so, we will be back and running in no time.
What young designers need right now from fashion industry to grow up? List us three favorite designers / icons who inspire you.
Young designers would need Uniqueness in their design, great customer service and influencers that will push the business and grow to the next level. And my three favourite designers Victoria Beckham, Virgil Abloh and Kanye west.
