Listen to Two Steps now on Spotify & Soundcloud

Speaking more on the track, Maths Time Joy shares: Kevin has been one of my favourite artists for a long time so it was an honour to get to work with a songwriter like him, he brings such a sincerity to his work and it was interesting to work in a sonic space that is a bit more uptempo than both of us would usually sit.

Kevin Garrett shared further:  I wrote this song with Maths Time Joy years ago in London. It’s exciting to finally hear it out in the world. Grateful to be a part of his project.

Two Steps follows the release of Real Deal’ last month, a beautiful soulful track featuring the immaculate vocal talent of Sinead Harnett and J Warner. Real Deal was MTJ’s first release in two years and  it was greatly received by a wealth tastemaker press including Wonderland and American Songwriter plus a generous sweep of playlist support.

London based polymath Maths Time Joy is one of the UKs most multifaceted talents, a grammy nominated recording artist, producer and DJ who boast the likes of Gallant and Mahalia among his previous collaborations. Look out for more from MTJ very soon.
