BASTIANO si avvicina alla figura del cantautore dopo un lungo percorso da bassista in alcune band alternative rock della città in cui vive, Vicenza. Il tutto nasce in seguito al trascinarsi di un progetto musicale che da lì a poco si sarebbe fermato. Comincia a scrivere dei brani senza porsi un obiettivo preciso:
‘’Dovevo farlo e basta. Qualche mese e mi ritrovo con un po di canzoni fra le mani e il desiderio di condividerle con qualcuno. Si, ma come? Non avevo alcuna intenzione di formare una band, almeno non in quel periodo. Una serie di circostanze mi portano a conoscere Alberto De Rossi, chitarrista e produttore artistico. Non tardo a fargli sentire qualcosa. L’idea era di creare dei mondi dove voce e chitarra potessero sentirsi a proprio agio assieme a synth, arpeggiatori e loops.’’

Vede così la luce “Stesi sull’asfalto”, una specie di autoanalisi per fissare su un foglio il trascorrere delle stagioni.
STESI SULL’ASFALTO è uno dei progetti più interessanti della scena musicale italiana, ritrovando nei suoi testi, l’essenza più vera dell’amore in tutte le sue forme. È quasi impossibile non farsi trascinare dalla voce di Bastiano in un viaggio dove possiamo ritrovare noi stessi, in atmosfere non banali, che fanno risvegliare quei punti interrogativi nascosti dentro di noi.

L’EP formato da sei brani narranti le vicissitudini di un individuo che davanti agli ostacoli inizia a ragionare sul come riuscire a superarli senza fare troppo rumore. Prodotto da Alberto De Rossi (Alexia, L’Aura, Mistonocivo), “Stesi sull’asfalto“ é il primo EP con cui Bastiano si affaccia da solista sulla scena musicale indipendente.
Inizia con Ad est che parla di una relazione a distanza, affascinante quanto deleteria, ci facciamo stravolgere dal fascino irresistibile dei ritmi tribali a suon di chitarra. Campo visivo, un brano nato per dare omaggio ad un’amicizia senza fine. Un legame istintivo tra cane e uomo.
Candida che tratta il tema della violenza domestica, canzone metafora di come si trasforma l’essere umano quando si ritrova in mezzo a delle dinamiche tossiche, mette in dubbio la natura dell’amore. Al citofono, il frutto di un fugace incontro. La percezione di un tempo senza filtri in cui può succedere di tutto. Gira in testa, un brano che parla di complicità.

BASTIANO approaches the figure of the songwriter after a long career as a bass player in some alternative rock bands in the city where he lives, Vicenza. Everything was born following the dragging of a musical project that would soon stop. Start writing songs without setting a specific goal:
‘’I just had to do it. A few months and I find myself with a few songs in my hands and the desire to share them with someone. Yes, but how? I had no intention of forming a band, at least not at the time. A series of circumstances lead me to meet Alberto De Rossi, guitarist and artistic producer. I don’t take long to make him feel something. The idea was to create worlds where voice and guitar could feel at ease together with synths, arpeggiators and loops.’’
Thus sees the light “STESI SULL’ASFALTO“, a kind of self-analysis to fix the passing of the seasons on a sheet of paper.
STESI SULL’ASFALTO is one of the most interesting projects of the Italian music scene, finding in the lyrics the truest essence of love in all its forms in the lyrics written by Bastiano. It is almost impossible not to be carried away by his voice on a journey where we can find ourselves, in non-trivial atmospheres, which awaken those question marks hidden within us.

Produced by Alberto De Rossi (Alexia, L’Aura, Mistonocivo), “Stesi sull’asfalto” is the first EP with which Bastiano faces the independent music scene as a soloist.
It starts with Ad est , which talks about a long-distance relationship, as fascinating as it is harmful, we let ourselves be overwhelmed by the irresistible charm of tribal rhythms on the guitar. Campo visivo, a song created to pay homage to an endless friendship. An instinctive bond between dog and man.
Candida which deals with the theme of domestic violence, a metaphoric song of how the human being transforms when he finds himself in the midst of toxic dynamics, questions the nature of love. . Al citofono, the result of a fleeting encounter. The perception of a time without filters, in which anything can happen. Gira in testa, a song that speaks of complicity.
