Antonio López: To me, cinema, music, fashion, and visual storytelling are never separate worlds—they are deeply interconnected. Every one of these mediums is simply a different vehicle for the expression of the soul. Whether I am behind a camera, in front of a microphone, or writing lines on a page, the creative spark comes from the exact same place.
2. Has your craft on screen helped you develop more expressive, narrative-driven songs?
Antonio López: It has influenced everything I do. When you perform a song, the process is identical to embodying a character in a film. In both spaces, your purpose is not just to deliver lines or hit notes, but to tell a story straight from the heart and make the listener believe every second of it.
3. What inspired you to make Desde Mi Silencio a project dedicated entirely to love, heartbreak, and inner emotion?
Antonio López: It came from a genuine need to open my heart to the world and share things I had kept quiet for a long time. Antonio López: I think that balance happens naturally because human emotion is universal. The pain, joy, longing, and lessons I have lived through are experiences that every single person goes through at some point in their life. 6. What makes the vocal interpretation and musical arrangement of “Te Hablo” so unique?
Antonio López: With “Te Hablo,” I wanted to build a rhythmic, engaging ballad around a story of heartbreak and quiet resignation. Even though the musical rhythm is inviting, the core message carries intense emotional weight. My heart wanted to say to someone: “I speak to you and you don’t truly listen; you answer ‘I love you,’ but the words are empty.” Capturing that contrast between a driving rhythm and honest lyrical vulnerability gives the song its soul.
7. What gives this album its distinct identity compared to other romantic and contemporary projects?
Antonio López: Its individuality comes from absolute authenticity. I don’t try to imitate anyone—vocally, musically, or stylistically. Every track has its own distinct sonic arrangement, mood, and vocal register tailored precisely to what the story demands. Above all, I don’t approach the microphone simply as a singer trying to execute a technique; I approach it as an interpreter giving voice to real life.
